This session provides education on the proper use and installation of car seats and/or booster seats. The parent or caregiver will practice the skills needed to confidently install seats for the children they transport.

This presentation is intended for new parents, soon-to-be parents, and caregivers. It is also suitable for interested community groups or anyone who transports children. Installation is discussed in a general sense. Demonstrations, and limited hands-on practice, can also be added.
Offers basic first aid and caregiving skills for youth 11-15 years old. Participants learn how to provide care to children in a variety of age groups, and how to prevent and respond to emergencies. The course also offers youth the skills to promote themselves as babysitters to prospective families.
