what do we stand for?

Helping Hands First Aid & Safety Training Inc. was created out of a desire to help make you feel more confident with your abilities. We are built on a foundation of more than 15 years in the nuclear industry’s health and safety training world and more than 30 years of training and coaching experience in total. We offer Canadian Red Cross certified training courses, car seat inspections and installation assistance as a certified Child Passenger Safety Technician, and tailored courses. Customized safety talks and demonstrations can also be provided.

our team

Mark Noël

Owner & Trainer

With over 30 years of experience teaching and training, Mark has an amazing breadth of knowledge and an adaptive teaching style. He has been in the corporate safety training, within the nuclear industry, for over 15 years. He is passionate about helping learners to succeed.
Here are some of the training items that Mark helped to design, develop, deliver, and evaluate are; Emergency Response & Evacuation, WHMIS 2015/GHS, Job Hazard Analysis, Workplace Violence Prevention, Fire Extinguisher Safety & Operation, Respectful Workplace, Foreign Material Exclusion, Acid & Base Handling, Powered Pallet Cart Theory & Practical, and New Employee Orientation. Mark was a trainer for, and member of, an emergency response team that assisted employees, fire, police, and paramedics at a nuclear facility.
Outside of Helping Hands, Mark is a member of the volunteer search and rescue team Ontario Community Emergency Assistance Program (OCEAP). Within OCEAP Mark is a member of the Medic team which is made up of members with more advanced first aid training. For almost 15 years Mark has been a volunteer with Float Your Fanny Down the Ganny (FYF). In 2023 Mark accepted an invitation to join the FYF Board of Directors.
Mark moved to Northumberland County in 1987 and has been there most of years since. He enjoys the great trails and other adventures with his family.
