This first aid training course will center on the CPR, including AED, and Choking sections outlined by the Canadian Red Cross. Primary focus is on the care steps as they apply to infants and children. Participants will be applying the lessons learned with hands-on practice scenarios. First Aid care steps will include chest compressions, rescue breaths, AED operation, back blows, and more. The instructor’s goal is to increase participant’s confidence in their ability to provide, or direct, care when needed.
