This Infant and child focused first aid course teaches the Canadian Red Cross CPR and Choking sections. Participants will be applying the lessons learned with hands-on practice. Topics include scene assessment, chest compressions, rescue breaths, AED operation, back blows, and more. Participants will gain confidence in their ability to provide, or direct, care when needed. Note 1: Babies are welcome to attend if it helps make your scheduling easier. Space is available if privacy is needed. Note 2. A participation certificate is provided. This is not recognized in the workplace.
Level of CPR/AED training included in your Emergency First Aid certification.
